The Norwegian Institute of Bunad and Folk Costume has its own library, with a rich collection of old and recent literature on topics such as folk costume traditions, popular fashion, bunads and the history of European folk costumes. The Norwegian Institute of Bunad and Folk Costume also has a sizeable collection of literature dealing with crafts such as sewing, embroidery, knitwear, lace and various weaving techniques. These books cannot be borrowed, but members of the public may view them at the institute or request copies.
